Zero Hour is an expansion pack for Command and Conquer Generals. Zero Hour adds units, buildings, upgrades, and even “sides” to each warring parties. Yes Command and Conquer Generals can run without Zero Hour installed, but player will have no access to additional units, buildings, and upgrades. Set maxcameraheight = 600 in the file INI.BIG under Contents/GamaData/Generals Data. And INZH.BIG under Contents/GamaData/Zero Hour Data. In order to see the Content Directory, you must right click on the game under applications and select ’Show Package contents’. You will need a hex editor to edit these files. The main goal of this mod is to make Zero Hour a more interesting game with more diversity between the generals, making you think twice before you select a certain general, and overall provide more choices, diversity, and strategic freedom than in Zero Hour - while keeping the spirit and design direction of the original Generals game and storyline.
